DOT SAP evaluations when the clock matters.

Substance Abuse Professional evaluations under 49 CFR Part 40 for safety-sensitive workers, drivers, pilots, mariners, locomotive operators, transit workers. We turn evaluations around in 1 to 2 days when scheduled, with telehealth across Arkansas and Missouri.

What's involved

  1. 01

    Initial evaluation

    Comprehensive face-to-face (in person or video) assessment per 49 CFR Part 40.281. Clinical interview, biopsychosocial history, substance-use history.

  2. 02

    Recommendation

    Written recommendation for education, treatment, or both. Specific provider list when applicable.

  3. 03

    Treatment compliance monitoring

    Coordination with the recommended education or treatment provider for adherence verification.

  4. 04

    Follow-up evaluation

    Final face-to-face evaluation per § 40.305. Assesses successful compliance and determines return-to-duty eligibility.

  5. 05

    Return-to-duty report

    Signed SAP report sent directly to the Designated Employer Representative (DER) per Part 40 requirements.

  6. 06

    Follow-up testing plan

    Written follow-up testing plan with minimum requirements per § 40.307. Plan stays with the employee through re-employment.
